“It is through art, and through art only, that we can realise our perfection.” Oscar Wilde. Tomas Maier, from Bottega Veneta has designed this wonderful bag for men. Right my birthday is next week, however I have the feeling I will have to make do with the picture. Sigh.

München 2010
So I was in München this past weekend, seems like I am always there in winter. I like to take a quick look at the windows as I find that München is one of the only places in Germany that will give you a good window, this time I was a bit disappointed. The only place of note was dare I say it Hallhuber.
Right so went to a quaint cafe called Tambosi am Hofgarten, well worth a visit if you are in town. Took a brief look at what the gay bars had to offer. I ended up chatting with someone from England that was there selling mince pies. he recommended a place called Jennifer Parks. FAB.
The following day I visited a friend of mine Cambis from Pool. (Only the best fashion house in München). He just happened to have a party that night in Cafe beer (which happened to be around the corner from the hotel), featuring Miss MaDeevah. Fate I say.
It’s not normal but I had a great time in that strange accent town. Thanks to Mr Rónán Ó Braonáin who picked me up in a ridiculously funky white BMW, that by the way did a lot of things when you placed your hand on handle.

Well Bentley and the suit firm Astor & Black have teamed up in a way that harps back to a time gone by. Astor & Black will provide you with a custom made suit free of charge if you drive out of the showroom with a new Bentley. Only applies If you happen to reside in the States or Canada.
I took the time out tocheck out their wares , I must admit I would be by the tailors a long time until they were able to make something worthy of the name tailor made. They seemed a bit lacking in the creative department. Maybe that is why the offer is limited to North America. Just saying.
(Then again unless a gun was involved I would not be driving out of the show room with a new Bentley)

Rene Gruau was a Fashion illustrator that captured the spirit of Christian Dior, before photography would replace the art for ever. Only a few have been able to shine through the new medium notably Antoinio Lopez, then Alvaro.
That my dears is what I would call lounging.

Straw Boater.
It is time to bring back the Boater. I know I am biased to most things British, however you must agree, a Boater decorated with fresh ivy and roses, is well, FAB.
