Lenco L-71 turntable.
Right this turntable by Lenco had it’s debut today at the IFA today in Berlin. What is interesting about this you ask? Well it records straight to a USB memory stick or a SD card. Considering these days one can play a set with just a laptop FAB is all I can say.

Trafalger Square.
A proposed monument replicating the statue of Field Marshal, Sir George White for the Fourth Plinth by the artist Hew Locke. FAB but as one observer commented lets see how it looks after the pigeons have had their way.
Ross Lovegrove.
New city bikes from the Danish bicycle company Biomega. This one designed by London designer Ross Lovegrove.
Whats interesting , and I don’t have a clue about bikes is that there is an absence of the traditional chain, in it’s place, is a carbon belt.
That hole is designed so as to hang the bike up in tight urban spaces.

Toshiba.The libretto W100.
This sports a dual screen. One can watch a video on one screen whilst writing e-mails on the other. For complete spec’s check out the website . The device boosts a web cam, also supports multi touch.
I like that it folds into it’s self thus reducing the possibilities of scratches. Also that is weighs only slightly under 1 Kilo, means it will not weigh your purse bag down.

LG Washing machine.
What’s so FAB about a washing machine and dryer from LG you ask? Well this one can communicate with the technician when something is wrong with it.
The customer would have press certain buttons this in turn would send out signals through the phone which can be understood by a trained technician.
Right.
Would be nice when, It could also sense what colour and temperature to wash my clothes.

Dj Table.
This was a Senior Degree Project for the Kansas City Art Institute. DJ touch screen interface and gesture interaction concepts of Mr Gerg Kaufman. which took Three months to make.
With a few taps and swipes he has created a board that can mimic turntables. Now all they have to do is show up to the club with a USB stick and they are ready to go.
I hope that when I go to a club featuring this, they better make me want to throw the hair I don’t have…..,yet. Video after the jump
