The wooden sliding-box camera was made in Paris in September 1830 by Alphonse Giroux, the brother in law of the inventor of the camera. The camera is signed by Jacques Mande Daguerre to verify that the device is authentic. This will be going on ’sale’ and is expected to reach up to 700.000,Euro’s.
