Sometimes you just want to eat by yourself. No one to please just you, you and more you.Well we would like to indulge you.This series will provide simple recipes for that dinner for one.
Salmon and potatoes with a dash of vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 slice of salmon (buy what you can eat)
1/2 an onion.
1 avocado
1 tomato
1 chili (for that Jamaican feeling)
1 sprig thyme
Sea salt
Ground black pepper
String peas
About 4-5 baby potatoes
Butter
Olive oil
1 bottle of wine.
In a small pot put the potatoes to boil, add a little salt. (about 10-15 mins) During this time cut the tips off the beans, wash and combine with onions, a pinch of salt, black pepper and a bit of butter. Slowly cook on a low heat add water and let simmer. (about 7 mins)
Take salmon and coat with salt and black pepper.In a frying pan heat olive oil with a clove of garlic.Add about half a fresh chili, thyme,then add the salmon let simmer after about 3 mins turn over then turn heat down and cover.
Let simmer to which,add about a half of a tomato. (Please check fish with a knife if cooked)
Serve with a quarter of your avocado or as much as you want add potatoes and the string beans, remember it’s all about you. And say hello to your bottle of wine.
As for desert you going to have to figure that one out by yourself.
